Holiday Music and other stuff

Normally, once December 1st hits, I'm all about listening to Christmas music.  This is the *only* time of the year that I'll listen to anything resembling country music, and then it's only Reba McEntire (and even then, it's only this album).  Other music in my Christmas / Holiday collection includes Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, The Vince Guaraldi Trio (you know...the guy that did the music for the Charlie Brown Christmas special) and finally we have several albums that have miscellaneous artists.

Anyway...while at Best Buy yesterday, I picked up two new albums: Christmas with Dino (Dean Martin) and Jethro Tull Christmas Album .

I have to say that the Jethro Tull album is awesome.  Ian Anderson has a great voice and you can't beat the flute. :-)

All we need now is some snow and I'll be happy.  We still have several movies that we only watch in December, but there has to be snow first. :-)  What movies you ask?  Holiday Inn (Bing Crosby & Fred Astaire), The Bell's of St. Mary's , Going My Way  (Bing Crosby), It's a Wonderful Life , Miracle on 34th Street (the original), A Christmas Story (you know...the one with the BB gun) and all the classic cartoons (Charlie Brown Christmas, Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph, etc.).
