Yesterday was a pretty good day. We had some training related to the product most people here work with (and what I'll be working on). I got my new laptop! It's an IBM ThinkPad T41. I'm pretty happy with it. It's got 512mb RAM, a 40gb drive, a DVD/CD-RW, 15“ display and I believe it's a Centrino running at 1.6ghz.
Today I got to sit with someone in another department to see how they used the software (same software we had training on yesterday). It was a great experience. I've been spending a lot of today getting my new laptop configured with software like MindManager, 4NT, RSSBandit (the IT guys did an outstanding job of the initial set up).
My goal this weekend is to move this blog. I think I'm simply gonna move it to another one of my domains. I will post here when the “move” is complete.
