Better late than never.

The 4th SmallBiz 101 article from SvN talks about how to increase your sales.
Make daily goals. If you know you need to get five new customers a month, then
work backward from that and figure out how many contacts/phone calls you need
to make to achieve those five sales. Then divide this by the number of working
days in the month. If you have an achievable daily goal, you’ll feel great when
you check it off your list.

I wonder if he advocates "cold-calls"?  The whole idea of cold-calling scares the bejeezus out of me. :-\

Paschal hit the nail on the head with this post about Web 2.0.

Scott Hanselman's post on his 2006 resolution is fantastic even if you're not a new parent. :-)  I've already discussed these ideas with my wife and have gotten the go-ahead to purchase a couple USB keys.

Having recently discovered Ruby on Rails, I found this post by Steve Eichert to be very interesting.

Ugh....I have more links, but it's late and I want to go to bed. :-)  Follow-up tomorrow.
