Useful development tools
To continue from my useful apps and useful utils posts, here are the development tools I *have* to have on a system to be anything close to productive.
1. VS.NET / .NET Framework – duh.
Useful applications
To continue the theme I started in my last post (and to try to jumpstart my blogging again), here are the apps I consider most useful:
1. Mindjet MindManager Pro – I use this for everything from task tracking to software design to article writing.
2. Microsoft Outlook 2003 – do i need to say anything about this one?
3. Sharpreader – I love it until it consumes 150mb+ of RAM.
4. Virtual PC – couldn’t be a software developer without it.
5. Adobe Photoshop – Tried the gimp…didn’t like it.
Useful utilities
I think this type of thing must happen several times a year….
PC Magazine has recently come out with their list of “Incredibly Useful Utilities”.

We all had a wonderful celebration afterwards and the whole party marched down the street to the post office where the entire town of Portland waved ‘Bon Voyage!’ to your package, on its way to you, in our private CD Baby jet on this day, Tuesday, March 14th.
I hope you had a wonderful time shopping at CD Baby. We sure did.
Your picture is on our wall as ‘Customer of the Year’. We’re all exhausted but can’t wait for you to come back to CDBABY.COM!!
I love it!
Not only did the CD ship really quickly, I got a

Wow…3 weeks since I’ve posted anything…that’s not cool.
I’ve been trying to get healthy, but that’s been tough since noone else in the house is healthy yet.
